It has been an honor to step into the shoes of Miss Peggy Sawyer here at Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island. Led by the incomparable Jessica Wockenfuss (Ogunquit and North Shore Music Theatre’s Peggy Sawyer), we have been tapping our feet off for the past three weeks and are settling into our lovely three week run next to the ocean. Jess has done an incredible job restaging Randy Skinner and Gower Champion’s original choreography, and it has been such a gift to learn these iconic steps with such an iconic team.
